Monroe Baker, aged residennt of the Mirabel district, near Middletown, died suddenly Monday, at his home.Coroner H. M. Jones held an inquest, and death was declared due to heart failure. He was a native of California, aged 63 years. Baker had been employed by Arch Asbill, livestock inspector, to help guard the road in the hoof and mouth disease quarantine. He had finished his shift, and was preparing to take a bath , when his wife found him gasping in the bath tub. He died before a physician could be secured.
