HAROLD JENSEN IS BURIED IN BLAIR
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 9, at Immanuel Lutheran Church for Harold L. Jensen, 81, who died April 7, 1983, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
The Rev. Russell Saltzman officiated at the services. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.
Harold L. Jensen was born November 9, 1901, in Blair to Nels M. and Anna Truhlsen Jensen on the original Jensen homestead farm site. He married Mary Margaret Whorlow on September , 1925, at Wayne, Nebraska.
He farmed during his lifetime until retiring.
His wife, Mary, and one sister preceded him in death.
He is survived by a daughter, Margaret, of Blair; and two sons, Roger, Omaha, and Wendell, Fort Worth, Texas. Five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mildred Loomis, Pennsylvania, and Myrtle Ross, Cedar Rapids, Colorado**; and two brothers, Alton Jensen, Herman, and Marshall Jensen, Orlando, Florida, also survive him.
Terry Jensen, Dick Wardell, Don Rasmussen, Dick Svendgaard, Merle Wardell and Ivan Larsen were pallbearers.
Opal Jensen was organist. Jack Jensen was vocalist.
Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
**Note: Correction - Myrtle Ross resided in Cedaredge, CO at the time of Harold's death. (S. Wardell)
