The funeral of Mrs W A Clark, who died Wednesday night, will be held today at noon at the residence on Elmwood avenue. The interment will be at the cemetery
Mrs Clark's maiden name was Rosa Barwick Legare and she was a native of Charleston. She was first married to Mr John Whaley of Charleston, who died 20 years ago. Their only child, Miss Julia Whaley, died about 10 years ago. About 15 years ago, she became the wife of Mr W A Clark, the president of the Carolina National Bank, and has since made her home in this city. Mrs Clark was a woman of unusual strength of charcter and her life was a beautiful one.
