René A. Daignault
(Died June 18, 2013)

René Anthony Daignault was born December 6, 1947, in Harrah, OK, and died June 18, 2013, in Oklahoma City, OK. When trying to describe René, several thoughts come to mind: Christ follower, Family, Servant, and quite frankly "Jack of all trades". His walk with Christ was of the highest importance and his daily life proved this to be evident. He set the bar high when it came to being a husband, father, and grandfather. His family, simply put, was his world. René was a true servant. He never looked for the spotlight, but always had his eye open for ways to help others. You would be hard-pressed to find a more kind, gentle, and loving person. By trade he was an automotive mechanic, but to his grandchildren and others he was a "fix anything kind of guy" as he could take anything that seemed to be broken and find ways to make it new again. He will definitely be missed by many.

René is survived by his wife, Nita; son, Desmond Daignault and wife Karen; daughter, Alicia Evans and husband, Bryan; mother, Goldie Peery; father, Richard Daignault; stepfather, Guy Peery; and grandchildren, Ashton, Jayden, Jackson, Kingston, and Princeton; 4 Brothers, Les Clines, Chuck Diagnault, James Peery and Rick Diagnault; 2 sisters, Denise Price and Michelle Watson; as well as many nieces and nephews, customers and friends.

A come-and-go visitation and reception time honoring René will be from 6-8pm on Thursday, June 20th at Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond. Services celebrating his life will be at 1pm on Friday, June 21st at Edmond's First Baptist Church with burial following at Corbett Cemetery, Lexington, OK
