Susie E. Batchelor Graveside services for Susie E. Batchelor, 86 of Malakoff are scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday at Judson Cemetery in Anderson County. Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home in Palestine.

Mrs. Batchelor died March 6, 2001, in Athens.

She was born Sept. 3, 1914, in Henderson County to Dan and Leona Williams Bell. Mrs. Batchelor lived most of her live in Cayuga and the Cross Roads area. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Cayuga.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Batchelor, in 1968; and sons, Johnie and William Batchelor.

Survivors include her son, J.W. Batchelor of Scurry; daughter, Mary Gatewood of Palestine; brothers, William Bell of Denton, Harry Bell of Scurry and D.C. Bell of Denver City; sister Faye Armstrong of Seven Points; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. Family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
