Born on February 14, 1931 in Connersville, she is the daughter of the late Jacob and Cora Jones Bradburn.
She was a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority, American Business Women Association, the Eagles and the Elks. She also was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She retired from the Connersville Paint Company and had also worked at H.H. Robertson and Philco Ford.
She is survived by her husband, Ben Godsey; four daughters and three sons in law, Deborah & Jerald Glass, Carol Parvis, Ginny & Darryl Silvers, and Jayma & Laurence Smith all of Connersville; two sons and daughters in law, Stephan & Genia Godsey of Connersville and John & Rhonda Godsey of Cape Girardeau, MO; two sisters, Nevada Fenters and Judith & Gerald Long; Eighteen grandchildren, Jacob & Carrie Glass, Christy & Dustin Pflum, James Glass, Allyson Parvis, Glendora & Chris Richardson, Jeff Parvis, DJ Silvers and his companion, Tammy Precht, Mari Proffitt, Jeremy Silvers and his companion Joni Peters, Blake Smith and his companion Caity Allen, Stephan & Samantha Godsey, Catherine Godsey, Christopher Godsey, Joshua Godsey, Michael Godsey, Matthew Godsey, Ian Godsey and Ashley Godsey; great grandchildren, Hunter, Luke, Emma and Olivia Godsey; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Marion, Jacob, Lewis and Henry Bradburn; a grandson, Wayne Silvers; and a nephew, Jay Bright.
Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church on Friday March 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mal Gibson and Vonda Bishop officiating.
Burial followed at Lick Creek Cemetery.
