Edna F. Adams

Edna F. Adams, 83, 606 S. Fourth St., died at 10:34 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 1990, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Adams was born June 21, 1907, in Packwood, the daughter of Frank and Nancy Boals Dimmittt (sic. Dimmitt). She married Robert R. Adams Jan. 1, 1929. He died June 12, 1964. She was a homemaker and had worked as a cook at Parsons College and also at the Orte Bakery.

Surviving are three grand-daughters; three sisters, Hazel Lynn of Waterloo, Christena Ipsan of Cedar Rapids, Gladys Gire of Fairfield and a brother, Robert Dimmitt of Portland, Ore. A son, Robert P. and three brothers, Clifford, Clyde and Warren, preceded her in death.
