Hedwig B. Lorenzen, 104, of South Broadway, Tarrytown, N.Y., died Monday in Phelps Memorial Hospital, Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Weider) Lorenzen, and was raised in Hazleton. She lived in Allentown, Jackson Heights, and Queens for 60 years before moving to Tarrytown in 1992. She was a graduate of Hazleton High School. She was at one time employed, and retired from, the Duplan Mill, Hazleton, where she worked as a warper.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were brothers, Arthur, Fred, Albert, Robert, and Marty, and sisters, Elizabeth, Bertha, and Anna. Surviving are a sister, Evelyn Toter, Sarasota, Fla., nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Joseph L. Wroblewski Funeral Home, 1442 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Trinity (German) Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton, at 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Trinity (German) Cemetery, Hazleton. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
