MURIEL BOSTON, 84, of the Friendly Nursing Home, formerly of South Main Street, a saleswoman for the Modern Shoe Store in Providence before retiring, died Friday at the home.
Born in Worcester, Mass., a daughter of the late Clarence E. Boston Sr. and Ella A. (Pickering) Boston, she moved to Woonsocket 50 years ago.
Miss Boston was a member of Slatersville Congregational Church in Slatersville. She was a former member of Globe Congregational Church in Woonsocket.
She leaves a brother, Clarence E. Boston Jr. of Nashville, Ind.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Slatersville Congregational Church, On-the-Common, North Smithfield. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield.
