Naomi Lydia Bever, 81, daughter of Victor LeRoy and Susie May (Williams) Holmes was born March 22, 1924 in Rockwell City, Iowa. She died June 5, 2005 at Kabul Nursing Home. She was a member of Houston First Baptist Church. She married Jess Bever, Jr. on October 6, 1942 in Houston, MO. Naomi has lived in the Houston and Cabool areas since moving to Missouri with her parents as a child. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sistrs; Florence Tomlinson, doris curry and Mary Venable Brelsford and 2 infant brothers. She is survived by four children: LeRoy Bever and wife Jancice of Badger, MN, Robert Bever and wife Ann of Rockford, IL, Carolyn Worley of Pomona, MO and Velda Cross and husband Travis of Houston, MO; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great grandchildren.
