SKIDMORE, Mo. -- Paul David Miller, age 83, Skidmore, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, at the VA Medical Center, Leavenworth, Kan.

Paul was born Oct. 23, 1919 at Burlington Junction, Mo., the son of Fred B. and Millie May Ballinger Miller.

On Dec. 25, 1946, he was united in marriage to Frances "Pauline" Horner in Troy, Kan. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include a son, Jack David Miller, Reynoldsburg, Ohio; three daughters, Alice Chestnut, Skidmore, Mo., Paula Clark, Maryville, Mo., Alisa Geib, Craig, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Paul was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Southern Philippines, Luzon and New Guinea. He is a member of the Sam Albright American Legion Post No. 411, Skidmore.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Freda McGinniss and Dortha McIntosh; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Funeral service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville. Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery, Skidmore. Friends may call after 12 noon today, Price Funeral Home. Memorials: to the American Heart Association.
