ARMSTRONG RITES HELD AT COBLE

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Adeline Armstrong, 72, who died Tuesday at her home in the Coble community, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Coble Church of Christ. D. Ellis Walker officiated. Burial was in Sulphur Cemetery.

A native of Perry County, she was the daughter of Mrs. Matilda Graham. She received her education in county schools.

Surviving are her husband, Lanty Armstrong; two daughters, Mrs. Elise Chessor and Mrs. Zelma Chessor, both of Centerville; six sons, Fred Armstrong, Milan, Sidney Armstrong, Aetna, David Armstrong, Oscar Armstrong, Jack Armstrong and Hillard Armstrong, all of Centerville; a brother, Jack Graham, Pope; 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
