Edna J. Venden, age 76, of Stoughton, died on Friday, November 8, 1985. The former Edna Anderson was born on August 29, 1909, in the Town of Christiana. She was formerly employed until retiring as a nurses aide at the Stoughton Nursing Home. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Circle No. 11, The Church Women, and the Stoughton Senior Citizens.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Omar (Clarice) Lee, Mrs. Doris Obrecht, Mrs. Don (Carol) Moe, all of Stoughton, and Mrs. Ole (Joan) Holman of Edgerton; two sons, Howard (Carol) of Davenport, Iowa, and Robert of Madison; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Art (Agnes) Julseth of Stoughton; and a brother, Otis Anderson of Cottage Grove.

Edna was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Smithback; and a brother, Ernest.
