DAVENPORT - Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for John Paul Gerard Goldermann, infant son of David and Carrie (Jensen) Goldermann, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport. Private family committal services will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, is in charge of arrangements. John Paul Gerard Goldermann was born Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, in Peoria, Ill., at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. He passed away shortly after birth on Saturday. "We come to know and believe in the love God has for us. That's our great act of faith, how to repay God, love for love." Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity. Memorials can be made to Womens Choice Center, Bettendorf, or Holy Family Catholic School. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include sisters, Mary and Anna Goldermann, at home; maternal grandparents, Dr. Henry "Jack" and Mary Jo Jensen, Davenport; paternal grandparents, Russell and Dolores Goldermann, Davenport; great-grandmother, Julia Goethals, East Moline; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
