Inez Jeter Adams, 71, of Fredericksburg passed on unexpectedly Sunday April 7, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital.

She was born in Caroline County to the late Elizabeth Jeter and Stanley Ware. She was a member of Shiloh New Site Baptist Church of Stafford. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gail Adams.

Survivors include four children: two sons, Gary Adams and his wife Kesha of Spotsylvania and Louis (Champ) Adams and his wife Therisa of Stafford; two daughters, Jackie Armstrong and her husband Anthony of Texas, and Joyce Armstrong and her husband Ray of Philadelphia; two sisters, Helen Kenner of Fredericksburg and Betty Jean Smith of Richmond; one brother, Charles Ware of Maryland; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be a viewing 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at A. L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, and one hour prior to the 1:00 p.m. funeral service Saturday, April 13th, at the funeral home. Minister Louis Adams will give the eulogy with Pastor Swanson presiding. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Baptist Church cemetery in Caroline County.
