Miss Annetta A. Gleim, daughter of the late Mrs. Mabel M. Gleim, of Mechanicsburg, was married recently to Clyde Burgett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Burgett, RD3.

The wedding took place in the Chapel at the First United Methodist Church of Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. Kenneth I. Bower officiating. A reception was held for the immediate families in the home of Miss Joan Staub, 800 Shuler Street, Mechanicsburg. Miss Staub and Mrs. Bruce Burrell served.

Attending the couple were Mrs. Ruth M. Shaffer of Linglestown, sister of the bridegroom and Ralph Gutshall, of Carlisle, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.

Mrs. Burgett was employed as a bookkeeper for the Mechanicsburg Branch of the Cumberland Valley Cooperative Association and Mr. Burgett is engaged in farming with his farmer.

The couple are at home at RD3, Carlisle, after a wedding trip to Oklahoma where they visited Mrs. Burgett's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Gleim, Del City, Okla.

Annetta "Aggie" Agnes Gleim Burgett, 86, died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.

Born August 30, 1926 in Mechanicsburg, the daughter of the late Frank and Mabel M. Moyer Gleim and the widow of Frank Clyde Burgett.

She was a graduate of Mechanisburg High School. She was a bookkeeper at Cumberland Valley Co-Op. She was a member of St. Matthias Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

Surviving are nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Henry Gleim.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 219 North Hanover Street, with Rev. Dr. Frank Frischkorn officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be St. Matthias Lutheran Church, 3500 Spring Road, Carlisle Springs, PA 17013.
