FREDERICK C. FORBES
Funeral services were held yesterday in the Holman chapel for Frederick C. Forbes, who for 45 years had operated drugstores in various parts of Oregon and Washington. He died Thursday at the age of 66 at his home in Klamath Falls. Interment was in Lincoln Memorial park.
Mr. Forbes is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. John L. Stewart of Detroit, Mich., and Miss Jane Stanburrough Forbes of Klamath Falls, and two grandchildren.
A native of Sheridan, Or., Mr. Forbes entered the drug business in Portland 45 years ago. During his long business career he owned and operated drug stores in Seattle, Alaska, La Grande and Klamath Falls, as well as at three locations in Portland.
Graveside services were conducted by Washington Masonic Lodge, of which Mr. Forbes was a member.
