MRS. CHARLES MANLEY
Mrs. Mary E. Manley, aged 84, of Hartwick, died April 2 in the Leone Convalescent Home in Hartwick, where she had resided for the past 12 months.
She was born September 10,1878, in the Town of Hartwick, the daughter of George and Emma (Ballard) Bresee. On January 27, 1898, she was married to Charles
A. Manley of Hartwick. He died July 10, 1941. Mrs. Manley had resided most of her life in the Town of Hartwick.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Weeks of Hartwick, RD; five sons, Ernest of Milford Center, Russell of East Springfield, Roosevelt of Herkimer, Dorrence of New
Paltz, and the Rev. George Manley of Marion, Ind.; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, from the Patterson Funeral Home in Hartwick, with the Rev. Kenneth Rowe, pastor of the First Baptist
Church of Hartwick, officiating. Burial will be in Hartwick Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience at the funeral home. The family will be in attendance from
7 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
