Francis M. Campbell, 84, of Blacksville, WV died Monday, January 10, 2011 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

Mr. Campbell was born June 14, 1926 at Alicia, PA, a son of the late Earl W. Campbell and Mildred Dorcas Cooley Campbell.

Francis was a self employed welder. He owned and operated Campbell's Metal Products in Blacksville for many years. He was a veteran of both the United States Air Force and the United States Army. He formerly attended the Blacksville Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters and their spouses, Cynthia Goodwin of Blacksville and Marcia and Jimmie Bartlett of Wadestown; one brother, Robert Campbell of Morgantown; three grandchildren and their spouses, Amy Kassay and her husband Nehemiah of Daybrook, Christy Hoke and her husband Charles of Wadestown, and Erin Hall and her husband Morgan of Mannheim, Germany; and four great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Kassay, Jacob Kassay, Carley Hoke, and Caleb Hall.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were one brother, Earl W. Campbell, Jr. and his wife, Margaret Campbell who died on June 13, 2010.

A memorial service will be held in the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 15, 2011 with the Dr. Rev. Stewart Johnson officiating.
