Company K "King George Grays" of King George County, 30th Virginia Infantry, Walker's Brigade, Aquia District, Dept. of Northern Virginia, C.S.A.

Residence Clifton, King George County, Va.; farmer.
Enlisted on 8/19/1861 at Marlborough Point, he was mustered into "K" Co. VA 30th Infantry as a Private.
He died of disease in Fredericksburg hospital.

The 30th Infantry Regiment completed its organization at Fredericksburg, Virginia, in June, 1861. Men of this unit were from Fredericksburg and the counties of Spotsylvania, Caroline, Stafford, and King George.
