EAST MOLINE - Services for Dwayne L. Schwarz 45, East Moline, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Schwarz died Monday, July 31, 2000, in East Moline. Dwayne was an ASA certified diesel mechanic. He had taught at area schools, including Black Hawk Outreach, Scott Community College and Bettendorf High School. He was born June 5, 1955, in Davenport, to Calvin and Ruth (Ball) Schwarz. He married Debra Newberry on July 21, 1972, at St. John's Lutheran Church, East Moline. He enjoyed fishing, camping, four-wheeling and bike riding. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include his wife, Debra; a daughter, Catina Schwarz, East Moline; his parents of East Moline; a grandson, Christian Schwarz; sisters and brothers-in-law, Yvonne and Johnny Tingle, Rock Island, and Paula and David Pratt, Moline; and a brother, Bernard Schwarz, Moline. He was preceded in death by a son, Randall; and sisters, Diana Johnson and Ellen Schwarz.
