Son of Douglas James Taylor "Baby Taylor" and Margaret Martha Cameron. Married 1) Pamela Kaye Peterson and had two children Sandra and Christopher. Married 2) Pamela Genovesi and lived in Salt Lake City until after his retirement from Union Pacific Railroad where he worked as a Carman. Loved by all who met him, he lit up the room everywhere he went, respected all, opened doors for people. He was thoughtful, generous, and the very best partner in life anyone could ask for. Dance became more than just a hobby to Douglas, as any of the women in Salt Lake City would quickly attest to - he was a talented and passionate dancer. An Army Vietnam Vet, he finally got to visit the Vietnam Memorial, and took his best road trip ever prior to taking his own life after a dark period of depression. His parents, x-wife and daughter followed him into the great beyond within a short period of time. Cremated and remains scattered in a beautiful forest, this headstone does not accurately represent where he was laid to rest.
