Per Jerry Lippincott; Donna F. Platt was born on January 10, 1947 to Cecil Amos Platt and his wife, Ida May Newell Platt. She graduated from Central City (Nebraska) High School in 1965. She and John Lukassen were joined in marriage on August 3, 1965. Donna died on August 16, 1990 from burns she suffered from an accidental gasoline explosion and fire on a motorboat during the Fourth of July celebration on a local lake. John preceeded her in death on July 4, 1990.
