Dorthey was preceded in death by her parents, John R. & Rose V. Sedillo, Dacono, CO; Brother, John B. Sedillo, La Junta, CO; Uncle Michael Sedillo, Denver, CO; Uncle Robert & Aunt Mary Sedillo, Denver, CO; Dorthey is with the Lord, having passed away peacefully on Good Friday, March 29th, after suffering with lung cancer and emphysema for many years.
Dorthey graduated from La Junta High School in 1960, served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1963 as a Communications Center Specialist, & Graduated from Pikes Peak Institute of Medical Technology, Colorado Springs, CO in 1972. Dorthey loved making quilts for family and friends. Dorthey was a long time parishioner of Shrine of St. Anne Catholic Parish, Arvada, CO and a member of the Northwest Denver Serra Club. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Serra Trust Fund for Vocations, care of Ron Day, 6700 W. Dorado Dr., Littleton, CO 80123.
