She died in Southwest Insane Asylum in San Antonio, Texas, in 1937. She was committed after her mother died because Sallie suffered from TB and had no one else to care for her. She married a man named Schoonover. She is listed on the 1930 census in Medina County. She is buried on the grounds of the asylum (now called San Antonio State Hospital) as Sallie Hancock Schoonover. I visited her grave last spring with a cousin of mine. Sallie was my great grandfather's sister.
