Mrs. Pauline C. Pacifico, 73, Altoona, died Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg, after an extended illness.
She was born April 14, 1929, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Herman C. and Eva (Showalter) Moffitt. She was thrice married, and her husbands are deceased.
Mrs. Pacifico was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
She retired as a housekeeper from Garvey Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Pacifico enjoyed walking and playing pinnocle.
Surviving are a son, Ronald E. Forsht of Muncy; a daughter, Bonnie L. Decker of Altoona; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maxine Long of Somerset. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sabrina K. Edmiston; and a brother, Clinton Moffitt.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2002, at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church by Father Vladmir Belcher. Committal at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today, April 24, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a Trisagion service will be held at 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
