Born Feb.22,1904 at Bucklin, Ks to Arthur J. and Abbie(Scott) Hammer, she married Roy V. Chipman on June 6, 1943 at Scott City, Ks. He died May 29,1985. She graduated from Dodge City Senior High School in 1932 and from the Dague Business College, Wichita, KS. A homemaker and a former employee of the Farm Burau office, Dodge City. She was a member of teh First Christian Church, Dodge City. Survivors are two daughters, Jean Triboulet, Hutchinson, and Betty Knight, Murrieta, Calif; a stepdaughter, Wanda Faye Komarek, Ellinwood; 10 grandchildren; four stepgrand-children, 27 great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchldren. Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church, Dodge City, Ks with the Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Burial was at Greencrest Memorial Gardens.
