Stanley Joseph "Joey" Bazilio, 59, of Mashpee, passed away on March 16, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Judy Bazilio and the son of the late Anthony and Isabel Bazilio Stanley was born in Nantucket, MA and graduated from Lawrence High School in Falmouth class of 1973. He served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. He retired from Stop and Shop with over 35 years of service. Joey "Little Joe", was a life time bowler and won many tournaments on the Cape and across the country. He was a life-long resident of Cape Cod and was loved by many of his peers.
In addition to his wife Judy, Stanley is survived by 7 brothers Lamont Bazilio of Petersburg, FL, Anthony "Ricky", Bazilio of Mashpee, Kenneth Bazilio and wife Brenda of Aiken, SC, Kevin Bazilio of Bristol, CT, Johnny Bazilio and wife Judy of Sandwich, Darryl Bazilio and wife Vechini of Myrtle Beach, SC, Robert "Bobby" Bazilio and wife Laushan of Bristol, CT, 5 sisters, Priscilla (Lemmie) Bazilio Wynn of Hyannis, Linda Mitchell and husband Anthony of Princeton, NJ, Holly Lopes of Beech Island, SC, Lisa Bazilio of Bristol, CT, and Jan Blaschke and husband Greg of Bristol, CT, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
A Visitation will be held at the Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home 74 Algonquin Ave. Mashpee on Thursday March 21, 2013 from 4 to 6 PM. A memorial service will follow in the Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home on Thursday March 21, 2013 at 6:00pm. Burial will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
