George A Barrick, 68, of 24 S Fifth St, Newport, died Monday, December 10, while hunting.
He was a painter, and was a member of the Social Order of Owls.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs Sara H Barrick; a daughter, Mrs Park G Crouse of Newport; two sons, David M of Duncannon RD2 and George R of Newport RD2; two sisters, Mrs Mae Neidigh of Newport and Mrs James W Miller of Newport RD2, and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home on Walnut street. The Rev John D Urban will officiate. Burial will be in Newport Cemetery.
