Married Helen Smith, May 13, 1927, in Farmington, Utah. She died June 1, 1989.
Member LDS Church, living in the American Fork Second Ward. He had worked in farming all of his life. He was named Utah's Farmer Of The Year in 1961. He was supervisor of Utah County Alpine Soil Conservation District. He was a great benefactor to all those who needed him.
Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Asa (Lois) Draney, American Fork; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Iva Hunting; brother, Boyd Hunting, both American Fork.
Services Saturday, 11 a.m. at Olpin Family Mortaury, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, where friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. or Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial: Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
