(She died of Skin Cancer contracted while living in Florida)

This Lady was a wild spirit when I met her. she always had a smile on her face and LOVED to act out Columbia in the Rocky Horror Midnight showings. (the first time I met her) I later worked with her (it took us three weeks to figure out where we knew each other) for several years after that.
we went "partying" often and picked up friends to go with. she was never without a sense of adventure.. especially in trying something wild.. but not too dangerous..
some of her wildness was tamed when her children were born and she loved her kids with all her heart and was happiest when she was pregnant (even with all the problems she had during each and every pregnancy, she could tell you stories that would make you never want to be pregnant.) but she grinned through it. and when every you'd catch her watching her kids there was a smile from ear to ear on her face. her kids were her life.. and I'm sure they miss her very much..

I knew I was destined to be her friend when I was going over some of my family history and retracing steps from when we first moved to California... My family stayed in an apartment that was RIGHT ACROSS the main road from where she lived. I didn't go to the same elementary but when up the road, because I went to the one closest to my baby sitter's house. so I didn't meet her then.. then my family moved, later one of my friends, from Jr high on, introduced us at the midnight movies in Brea (ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW).. when she came to work at the same "store" I did, we kept thinking we knew each other.. 3 weeks later our mutual friend walks in to visit me at work and she's up front and he about falls over saying hi... it is then the light went on and we knew where we'd met... from that point on it was true friends.. if cell phones had been around the we would have been on them all the time, even when we rented a place together till she got married. we always kept in touch sporadically after her children were born, but stay in touch we did.. that sad day when she called and told me she was ill and we lost connection and I finally found a number to call her back only to find that she'd been rushed to the hospital and had passed.. I will never forget... I MISS my friend.. and know that she is keeping an eye on her kids everyday from above... while driving her friend angels crazy with a game of "wild butt hair".. I think of you often..
