A lifelong Springwater resident, Mrs. Gertrude M. Artlip of Mill St. died Friday (Dec. 26, 1975) in Noyes Memorial Hospital, Dansville, after a long illness. She was 89.
She was the widow of Ward Artlip.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Kuch of Atlanta; a son, Willis of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted Monday in Wayland. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Springwater. (GCE, January 1, 1976, p3)
