McKINNEY, Texas, May 30. -- Funeral services were held here Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the Massie Funeral Home for Mrs. R. E. Deal, 74, who died in the City-County Hospital Tuesday. She had been ill for several weeks. Burial was in Fitzhugh Cemetery at Forest Grove.
Mrs. Deal was a native of Collin County, born Minnie Fitzhugh, in the Forest Gove community, southeast of McKinney. Her husband, R. E. Deal, to whom she was married Dec 5, 1897, in Forest Grove is deceased.
Surviving are two sons, Fitzhugh J. Deal of McKinney, Newton E. Deal of Oklahoma City, and a daughter, Mrs. Marie Killian of Dallas.
