Mother of Mrs. E.M. Woods
Dies Thursday Morning


Mrs. Lettie Hobdy Hamiter died Thursday morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis M. Woods of Minden. She was 70.

Funeral services were to be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Dennis Funeral home chapel with the Rev. H.E. Kirkpatrick, pastor of the First Baptist church,
officiating. Burial was to follow in the Arlington cemetery at Homer with the Dennis Funeral home in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors
Survivors include one son, S.T. Hamiter of Shreveport, three daughters, Mrs. Ellis M. Woods of Minden, Mrs. J. Floyd Richardson of Shreveport, and Miss Aline Hamiter of Bastrop; two grandchildren, Miss Marianne Hamiter of Shreveport and John William Woods of Minden; one brother, Lawrence Hobdy of Huntsville, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Bowen of Shreveport.

Pallbearers included Dr. J.E. Knighton, Jr., W.J. Knighton
and H.C. Skidmore of Shreveport, Eddie Fitzgerald of Minden, Joe Langston of Homer, L.T. Langston and Curtis Lyons of Arcadia.
