Born September 17, 1910 in Snowflake, Arizona, a daughter of Preston A. and Anna Smith Bushman.
She had ten brothers and one favorite sister, Georganna Bushman Spurlock. She married Reginald W. Acheson in Holbrook, Arizona in 1933. After 65 years of marriage, he passed away in 1998. The couple lived 35 years in San Diego, CA., then Caldwell, ID., Woods Cross and Centerville, UT. Virginia approached life with joy and love always finding the good in people and situations. Her family celebrates her passing and rejoice in her life devoted to loving and serving others. Her example of love and joy will remain with all who knew her. An active member of the LDS church, she loved relatives and friends, singing, DUP, riding horses as a girl, her many pets and beautiful flowers.
Their three children are: R. Neil, deceased (Marsha) Acheson; Lynette Mike) Mills, Centerville; Ut. and Ronald C. (Susan) Acheson, Missouri.
They have ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is survived by brothers, Louis (Ena) of Hurricane, UT., and John Bushman of Orem; brother-in-law Clinton C. (Vi) Acheson, Topeka, Kansas and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Centerville 6th Ward Chapel, 900 South 400 East. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, and Sat. morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment-Centerville City Cemetery.
