Obituary
"Mrs. Nancy Ellen Adams died at her home, 1002 West street, Stillwater, Ok., at 2:10 o'clock a.m., Monday, July 10, 1922, aged 53 years, 8 months and 10 days.
Funeral services were held at the residence at 2 o'clock p.m., July 11, Rev. S.G. Rogers officiating. Interment in Fair Lawn cemetery. The Modern Woodmen assisted in the funeral.
The decedent was born in Missouri, October 23, 1868. She married W.M. Adams, and they came to Noble county, Oklahoma, at the opening of the strip. After living on a claim there six years they removed to Stillwater, where they have lived since. She was the mother of eleven children, six of whom, with the husband, survive her. The living children are : Mrs. E. Roberts, Bristow ; Lewis Adams, Bristow ; Ralph Adams, Shideler ; W.I., Georgia and Ina Adams, Stillwater."
