Willie Mae Rice Brown, 99, widow of Woodrow "Speedy" Brown, of 812 Syphrit Road, died March 10, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of Lockhart, SC, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Bertha Frisbee Rice, a retired employee of Jackson Mill, and a member of Jackson Mill Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Ken Brown and his wife, Kay of Pawleys Island; a daughter, Janice Cash of Wellford; a sister, Lois Rollins of Spartanburg; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Larry Brown, seven brothers, one sister, and one granddaughter, Yvonne Brown.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Rev. Jim McMahan. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
