Charleston - Mrs. Arlie N. Ales, 66 years old, the wife of Frank Ales, died at the family home today after a four-day illness.
The body was taken to the McMikle Funeral Home and funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. D. B. Bledsoe conducting the service. Interment will be in the Dogwood Cemetery near Bertrand.
Mrs. Ales, who was born in Ripley County May 7, 1889, had lived here for seven years.
She is survived by her husband, three brothers, H.B. Norton and Scott Norton of St. Charles, Ark., and Frank Norton of Metropolis, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Lecta Brown of East Prairie.
