Mr. Bueal Marler, 70 of Mt. Vernon died Tuesday August 17, 2010 at his home. He was born on April 1, 1940 in Rockcastle County the son of the late Charlie and Lola Stephens Marler. He was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and whittling.

Survivors are: His wife; Mrs. Peggy Smith Marler of Mt. Vernon. Three sons; Gary, Larry, and Terry Marler all of Mt. Vernon. Two brothers; John Frank
Marlowe of Mt. Sterling and Ray Marler of Morehead. Three grandchildren; Bryan, Valerie, and Brittany and one great grandchild; Haley. He was preceded in death by one brother; Charles Marlowe and by four sisters; Evelyn McCreary, Sylvia Evans, Ella Moore, and Pearl Wilson.
