She was born in Marion to the late Miles and Lena (Hollowell) Rinehart. She graduated from Marion High School. She married Von Dale Lee, Van Buren; he preceded her in death in 1986. After they were married, they owned and operated an appliance store in Van Buren. Many people in Van Buren can remember seeing their first TV in the front window of their store. In 1955, they moved to Melbourne, Fla., where they owned and operated a motel until retirement. For the last 13 years, Fairy had lived in Round Rock to be close to her son. She had been a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Richard (Janiece) Lee, Round Rock; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Maxine (Kenneth) Breedlove, Marion, Mrs. May Lawson, California, Mrs. Cynthia Morse and Richard Rinehart, both of Florida, Don Rinehart, Mississippi, and James R. Rinehart, Arizona.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Vaughn Lee; and sisters, Betty Folkerth and Violet Coffman.
