We regret to chronicle the death of our old-time Wylie friend, Charlie Bland of Plano, who has been living at Plano for the past ten years, working at the harness trade. Charlie died at the sanitarium in Greenville Saturday morning, and was buried at Wylie. We have known him for 18 years. He was a quiet unassuming man, strictly honest, a high-toned Christian gentleman, and his friends were counted by his acquaintances. We know his good wife, and were present at their marriage some 15 years ago. Several children bless their union. To the good wife and children, we extend our sincere sympathy.
