Funeral services for Ethel Bourne were Monday afternoon at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel. She died Friday, Jan. 23, at the St. John's Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, Mo., at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 24 days.

Ethel Bourne was born to Charles A. and Louie A. Ingram Clark on Jan. 30, 1891, at Republic.

Mrs. Bourne lived most of her life in Republic and Jewell Counties. She moved to Superior for a short time and in 1959 she left Kansas to live with her daughter in Michigan. Later she moved to Utah and St. Louis, Mo.

Preceding her in death were her parents, one son, Marvin, and one brother, Hugh Clark.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Gerard Carvalho (Shirley), Webster Grove, Mo., one brother, Roy Clark, Phoenix, Ore., and six grandchildren.

The Rev. Marion Knoell officiated at the services and burial was in the Rosemound Cemetery near Hardy.

Mrs. Ethel Clark Bourne, 89, died Friday, January 23, at Webster Grover, Mo. She was a former Republic resident, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Clark.

Interment was in Rose Mound Cemetery, south of Hardy.
