Verna Daisy May Benson, 101, of Victorville, died Jan. 30, 1994, at Desert Knolls Convalescent Hospital in Victorville of cardiac arrest.
A native of Iowa, she lived in Victorville for 22 of her 99 years in California. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Benson is survived by her nephew Richard Haag of Lancaster and grandsons Edward Davenport of Columbus, Ohio and Walter Davenport of Ft. Collins, Colo.
A service will begin at 2:30 p.m. today in the dining room at Desert Knolls Convalescent Hospital in Victorville, with Don Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Little Lake Cemetery in Santa Fe Springs. Kern Memorial Chapel in Victorville is in charge of arrangements.
