Jesus Delio Escajeda, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on February 27, 2013. He is survived by his children, Arturo, Alfredo, Enrique, Carlos, Martha, his brother Reynaldo and siblings. He has left the suffering and the pain of his final days on this earth and has gone to find his eternal peace with his dearly-beloved, life-long companion and wife, Rosina Escajeda, who preceded him in death. It's always unexpected when someone you love and care for dies and there comes a terrible time in which you must adjust the way you view and perceive the world. And so, Jesus' passing will leave the world a little emptier; not only for his children, but for their spouses, his grandchildren and all those others he touched while on this earth. But the memory of his life will live on in a rarefied and perfect form in the minds of all those who knew him. They will remember his voice as he sang; they will remember his guitar, his incredible, self-taught talent; they will remember his paintings and his laughter and his humor; they will remember the service he gave his country in the Korean War; they will remember his love for his family and most of all, they will remember the joy he brought everywhere he went. We love you dad. Graveside service will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 12:30pm at Evergreen East Cemetery with Military Honors.
