Virginia Lou Hickman died at St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo, Texas Friday night.
She was born in Texhoma Jan. 14, 1927. She married Roy Hickman at Texhoma June 29, 1947.,
They moved to Amarillo four years ago to be near their daughter.
Survivors include her husband of the Amarillo home; her mother, Hattie Berry of Guymon; one daughter, Janet Hickman of Amarillo; and one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday from the First Baptist Church of Texhoma with Harold James officiating, assisted by Winston Curtis
Burial will be in the Texhoma Cemetery under the direction of the Dawson - Welch Funeral Home of Texhoma.
The family suggests memorials to the St. Anthony’s Hospice in Amarillo.
