Clarence "Bud" Moore was born September 21, 1924, in Murphysboro to Robert Austin and Laura Mileur Moore. His siblings include Kenneth, Robert, Fred, and Roberta Parmley, all of Murphysboro.

He married Mary Elizabeth Bastien on January 10, 1944 in Blytheville, Arkansas. She survives as well as children, Carol Ann Moore and Brenda Law, both of Murphysboro.

Mr. Moore was a dairy farmer. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Murphysboro, the Moose Lodge, the VFW Post 7190, and American Legion Post 127, all of Murphysboro.

Mr. Moore died at the age of 52 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion after a long illness.
