Laura Lee Wight Anderson 1953 ~ 2004 Our beautiful daughter, sister, mother, "nana" and friend ascended her earthly pain June 12, 2004. Surrounded by her loving family, she let go her fight with cancer. Lori was born May 27, 1953 in Thermopolis, Wyoming to William E. and Shirley M. Wight. She had endless love for her children, grandkids, family and friends. She enjoyed several professions and transcended many different lives in her 51 years on earth. She was married four times. Frank Anderson, Tony Summerhaze, Dennis Anderson, and Andy Guiterrez, each remained a loving part of her life. Art, crafts and gardening were her hobbies and her life; she created many wonderful gifts for family and friends from her "Little House of Laura's." Lori is survived by: her mother, Shirley; children Kim (Aaron) Newman, Kallie (Tim) Roberts and Tyler Anderson; grandchildren Taylor and Teienna Nichols, Chase, Madison, and Meadow Roberts, Jordan and Destiny Anderson; brothers and sisters Ron (Cathy) Wight, Linda Loma, Patrick Wight, Michael (Tammi) Wight, Tracey (Dale) Parks; "nieces-to-pieces" Robyn Geist and Rachel Rogers; nephew Jamie Hartman; great-niece and nephew Natasha and Carson Rogers. Preceding her in passing and waiting with open arms are: father: Billy; grandparents: Dusty and Dottie, and Elizabeth and Clarence. Sara is waiting for her walk with Lori. Her family sends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Wallace Ackerly and the extraordinary staff at Huntsman Cancer Institute (with your medicine, caring and love, you gave Lori the belief to give us another 16 months) and Tiffany, and the beautiful staff of Vista Care-Ogden. As she said many times, she loved you all, especially Dr. "Achy." A special note of gratitude to all who offered support-- Gloria and Denny, you are wonderful. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Close friends are invited to share with her family one hour prior to the service.
