MEXICO—Mrs. Florence Arthur, 82, widow of James H. Arthur, of Route 104, died Sunday in the Beadle Nursing home. She was born May 25, 1883 in Auburn daughter of Orville E. and Louisa Rodney Pratt. She married Mr. Arthur on June 8, 1907. He died last March 19. They resided here 35 years. Previously they operated hotels in Daytona Beach and Orlando, Fla and the the 1000 Islands. He was one of the key figures in the building of the 1000 Islands Bridge. She also was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Silas Towne DAR Chapter. Surviving are a nice and a nephew. Services on Friday with burial in the Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish.
