Cipriano "Cippie", a resident of La Mesilla, was predeceased by his parents Jose R. and Rosa Piña Archuleta; brother Donaldo B. Archuleta; sister Louisa A. Martinez; two daughters: Beverly Ann and Yvonne C.; and grandson Gabriel M. Archuleta.

Cippie was survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Martha Sanchez-Archuleta; only surviving daughter Pamela (husband Jerry "Jay" Lujan). grandchildren: Desiree, Estevan and Brandon Lujan; sisters: Irene (husband Clarence Martinez) and Vicenta (husband Leo B. Martinez); close niece whom he considered a daughter, Mildred Martinez; numerous other nieces and nephews; special and close extended Mascareñas' family from his beloved community of Youngsville.

Cipriano was proud to have served in the U.S. Air Force. Cippie retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 33 years of dedicated service. His love of people and traveling led him to further his career at Regional Transit Department (RTD). He was an avid outdoorsman and he loved driving and seeing the landscape of Northern New Mexico. Cippie loved his family and friends with all of his heart and often made surprise visits to tell them.

Public visitation and Wake were on February 26, 2013 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial was on February 27, 2013 at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada, Burial followed in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Desiree Lujan, Estevan Lujan, Jonathan Martinez, Clarence Martinez Jr., Derwin Martinez, and Joey Martinez. Honorary pallbearers: Brandon Lujan, Tomas Archuleta, Manny Gallegos, Jerry Gallegos, Richard Martinez, Bruce Martinez, and Aileen Barela.
