Leona Bea Coe
(April 8, 1934 - February 19, 2013)

Silverton – Leona Coe, 78, was born to McKenzie and Florence (Moore) Robertson in Lovell, Wyoming. She moved to Bakersfield, California, and later settled in Silverton in 1967. She worked as a caregiver for the State of Oregon for the mentally disabled at Fairview for 27 years and worked for a time at the Silverton Cannery and also at the Silverton Nursing Home. She loved her grandchildren and always put her family first. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and doing anything arts and crafts. Leona was very devoted to her church, loved the scriptures and was a life long member who loved serving in the temple. Leona was the last living sibling of her family and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Lea Coe who passed away in 1998. Leona was a great friend to all that knew her and she will be greatly missed.

Leona is survived by, daughters: Terri (Dave) Holmes of Canby and Tina (Earl Myers) Jandrow of Stayton; 9 grandchildren: Sarah Utley, Larry McCain, David Jandrow, Ryan Jandrow, Emily Coe, Krystal McCain, Katy Clark, Brittany McCain & Kerry Coe; and 6 great-grandchildren: Addison McCain, Spencer McCain, Aja Asbell, Lynzi Asbell, Kaitlyn Jandrow & Hailey Jandrow.

Funeral Service was held on Friday, February 22, 2013, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with burial at Miller Cemetery. Arrangements by Unger Funeral Chapel.
